A private viewing and service was held Monday December 3, for Barbara M. Greb, 86, of Washington and formerly of Charleroi PA. Barbara passed away Thursday November 29th, 2018 peacefully at the Presbyterian Senior Care Nursing Home in Washington Pa. with her family by her side.

She was born in Point Marion Pa. , on November 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Bennett) Maple. Barb was formerly a member of the Charleroi Presbyterian Church and worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for over thirty years.

Barbara and her second husband proudly established an endowed travel fund at Washington & Jefferson College to encourage international studies; the award was called: The Barbara Betler Greb and Edward M. Greb Travel Award. Barbara is survived by her husband Dr. Edward Greb, son Jeffry (Susan) Betler of Fallowfield Twp. , Daughter Billie (Peter) Eaves of Washington.

Her sister Penelope and(Wallace) Hodge and her sister-in-law Bonnie Maple. Four Grandchildren: Brittany (Joshua) Andy, Philip (Heather) Eaves, Katherine (Zachary) Bonatesta, Michael Betler and Fiancé Clare and three Great-grandchildren, Grayson and Sawyer Andy and Arthur Eves. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband William J. Betler, Jr. Brother Harry Maple and Sister Virginia Snow.
