Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Janette Fleeman Allen was born November 19, 1932 in Manila, Arkansas to Lois Thompson Fleeman and Floyd James Fleeman. Barbara graduated High School and continued her education at Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas were she met her future husband Bob Allen. Barbara and Bob were married in Manila on December 21, 1952 and moved to East Texas Baptist College in Marshall, Texas.

Upon Bob’s graduation Barbara and Bob moved to Garland, Texas to pastor the Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Barbara and Bob were appointed by the Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board on May 12, 1965 to serve as missionaries to Indonesia. The Allen family moved to Indonesia in 1966 and served there until 1976.

Barbara and Bob returned to Texas due to medical retirement from the Mission Board and began serving at Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas where they served until retirement. Barbara is survived by 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews and one sister Jo Ann Galloway of Mountain Home Arkansas and proceeded in death by her husband Bob Allen, mother Lois Thompson Goodson, father Floyd James Fleeman and brother Perry Fleeman.
