BECKER, Barbara Jean, 77, passed away on Sunday, Mother’s Day, May 12, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a retired teacher and member of Fern Creek Christian Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Pauline Finley; sister, Peggy Thompson; and brother-in-law, James Bradley Honaker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Frank Becker; children, Danell Christi Kuchenbrod (Michael) and Matthew Tyler Becker; grandchildren, Katherine and Ryan Kuchenbrod; brother, Frank Finley; sister, Robin Finley; and brother-in-law, Dr. Michael Dennis Becker. Her celebration of life memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday Cremation was chosen. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Louisville.
