Newton, James Edward Sr. passed away Friday, May 3, 2019. James was a self employed truck driver and he loved spending time on his farm in Breckinridge County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mona Lisa Miller and Joseph Clarence Newton Sr.; brother, Joseph C. Newton Jr

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lisa Mae Newton; four sons, James (Venita) Newton Jr, Michael (Karen) Newton, Joseph (Michelle) Newton, Jeffery (Beth) Jones; four daughters, Theresa (Ray) Yates, Sandra (Carl) Schmidt, Stacy Stewart, and Marsha (Jenn) Newton; Grandchild that they are raising, Breanna Stewart; 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene (Joe) Rusnack and Vickie (Anthony) Cunningham; brother, Earl (Beth) Newton. . Cremation was chosen by the family and his ashes are to be spread on his farm.
