Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Jean Gallina. Age 70. May 30, 1948 – February 22, 2019.

Beloved wife of Aldo for 52 years. Dearest mother of Rhonda (Brian) Reeves, Aldo Sam Gallina, Barbara (Curtis) Wade, Joseph (Melanie), Julie (Abdo) Alomari, and the late Christopher. Loving grandmother of Curtis, Julian, Dominic, Antonio, Marissa, Nathan, Alexis, Alex, Aliyah, Nolan, Giada, Jon, and Leo.

Dear great grandmother of Kyron Day. Cherished sister of Sharon, James, Dolores, Caroline, Arthur, Gloria, and Linda. One of Barbara’s most loved pastimes was spending time in her garden, her favorite flowers were roses and tulips and she enjoyed feeding and talking to the birds in the garden.

Barbara would find yard statues that she loved to refurbish and repaint. She cherished her moments sitting by the pond where she could watch the animals. Barbara was an animal lover and was known for nurturing hurt animals.

Barbara loved to style hair – she was a beautician. She was most known for her generosity and kindness towards others – her relationships with her family and friends were very important to her. Her 13 grandchildren meant everything to her, they were her world.

Barbara was open-hearted and never could say no to anyone. Barbara will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Visitation will be Saturday, 2:00PM – 9:00PM, and Sunday, 12:00PM – 9:00PM, at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Rosary/Scripture service on Sunday at 7:00PM. Funeral mass on Monday, 10:00AM (instate 9:30AM) at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 20710 Colgate St. in Dearborn Heights. Memorials suggested to the family.
