Obituary for Barbara Jean (Ohligschlager) “Bo” Conliffe Barbara Jean (Ohligschlager) Conliffe “Bo”, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2018. She was born on November 28th, 1939 to the late Herman Ohligschlager and Thelma (Yochum) Ohligschlager. She attended grade school at Holy Spirit and was a 1958 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.
Bo was a member of Big Springs Country Club, The Younger Women’s Club, and was a long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She was an avid golfer and loved to bowl, and was a volunteer for several years with Meals on Wheels. Bo was a fun & loving mother and grandmother; her two most cherished roles.
She was a very dear, special person to many and brought joy to everyone she was around. In addition to her parents, Bo was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Ohligschlager Hagan(Ken), and her brother, Jim Ohligschlager . She is survived by her four children: Michelle Feger(Tim), Drew Conliffe, Chris Conliffe(Scott), and Dana Kirchdorfer(Jimmy); her five grandchildren: Jordan, Erin, and Kylie Feger and Jay and Emma Kirchdorfer.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Rosemary Ohligschlager; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tim and Barbara Conliffe; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Bo’s life will be held Tuesday, December 11th 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (3345 Lexington Road) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 10th from 2-8 PM at Ratterman’s Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Road).
Our family would like to thank everyone at The Nazareth Home for the kind and loving care given to our mother these past two years. It is a special place and was a blessing to all of us.
