Weekly, 84 of Mendota passed away December 4, 2018 at Heritage Health, Mendota. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, Mendota with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating.

Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the church. She was born November 24, 1934 in Compton to Ralph and Elsie (Walters) Thompson.

She married Roy Weekly June 14, 1953 in Paw Paw. Barbara was a graduate of Paw Paw High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church………She had worked at Aunt Mary’s Yarn and the Trouser Factory both in Mendota.

She was a member of the Mendota VFW Post 4079 Auxiliary. She is survived by her three sons Ralph of Mendota, Tim of New Orleans and Bryan of Mendota; her brother Larry (Phyllis) Thompson of Paw Paw; two sisters Audrey Blobaum of Wilmington, FL. and Bonnie Joiner of West Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband in 2003, her son Kevin, daughter Kathryn (Weekly) Pinter and a brother Donald. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
