Obituary for Barbara Marie Gorman Barbara M. Gorman passed away at home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 and heaven gained a beautiful angel. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Frank Gorman; her two daughters, Brandie R. Gorman and Maria N. Varga; a grandson, Saige S. Shields; a granddaughter, Kailey F. Green; three brothers, Joseph Siravo, Jim Siravo and Bob Siravo; a sister Rose Giordano; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Verplank.

Barbara was a kind, thoughtful, generous and amazing person. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and spent her whole life taking care of her family. She was the true definition of a matriarch, the glue that held us all together.

She was stubborn, feisty, funny and fiercely independent. Although we knew this time would come, it still felt too soon. Our family is heartbroken and her passing will forever leave a huge hole in our hearts and lives.

We find comfort in knowing that she is finally free from pain and dancing with the angels. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Double Tree Resort Hotel, 17120 Gulf Blvd. , North Redington Beach, FL 33708.

Memorial Service starts at 1:00 p.m. with luncheon served immediately following. Parking in the upper deck near the hotel entrance and below in the parking garage is available but limited. Street parking will also be available.
