Barbara McFarland, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018. She was born on June 8, 1936, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Arthur & Lillie Mullinax, and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McFarland, daughter, Gail Simmons, and sister, Ruth Lindsay. Mrs. McFarland, worked as an assistant manager for Bellsouth and was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.

She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, going to yard sales and antiquing. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, traveling and she also enjoyed singing when she was younger. Survivors include her daughter, Jean & Don Hildebrand of Senoia, GA; sister, Flora Knight; grandchildren, Greg & Kristin Hildebrand, Natalie & Danny Smith, Nick & Jessica Simmons, and Joey & Hannah Hildebrand; many great-grandchildren who adored her and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. James Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 1 PM until the time of service. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
