BRAGG, Barbara Qualls – age 89 of Lebanon passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1930 to the late Reverend Raymond and Susie Qualls. She is also preceded in death by husband of 63 years, James Bragg; sisters, Frances Denny and Mary Hutto and brothers, Allen, Ray, and John Mark Qualls.

She is survived by her four daughters, Judy (David) Hargove, Bettye (Jim) Chapman, Connie (Jerry) LeBlanc, and Marsha (Ricky) Thorne; eight grandchildren, Christina (Dan) Lipe, Michael (Jennifer) Hampton, Melissa (John) Oakley, Mike (Lindy) Widman, Brian (Rhonda) Armstrong, Tony Armstrong, Rachel (Evan) Watson and Jamie (Kelly) Olds; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laura McMinn, Janice Frey, Pat (John) Marlin; numerous loved nieces and nephews; and many special friends at Saddlebrook Senior Living. A very special thank you to Dr. Gallant, Dr. Terry, Dr. Kehinde, Lavonzale Saddler, Dora Johnson, Jennifer Garcia, Paula Johns, and the entire Amedisys team. Mrs. Bragg was an original member of Westland United Methodist Church where she attended church and Sunday School every week.

She worked for South Central Bell, sewed for the public, and worked in the Lebanon High School and Cumberland University libraries until she retired. She loved having a good time with her family and friends, camping and traveling all over the U.S. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Her grandson, John Oakley will officiate the services. Active Pallbearers, Dan Lipe, Michael Hampton, John Oakley, Mike Widman, Brian Armstrong, Evan Watson, and Scott Peek. Honorary Pallbearers, Westland UMC Seekers Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Wings over Wilson, Attn: Yvonne Kittrell 1550 N. Mt. Juliet Road Suite 201, Mt. Juliet , TN 37122 PARTLOW FUNERAL CHAPEL is in care of arrangements.
