Barbara Riesmeyer. Age 65 born August 5, 1952, died July 9, 2018 at 3:37pm. Beloved wife of Robert H. Riesmeyer married in 1974.

Proud mother of Timothy and Daniel Riesmeyer and his wife Lisa, Grandmother to their son Saul. Daughter of Charles H. and Barbara Whelan Willis. Barbara attended First Presbyterian Church Camp (now known as Ligonier Camp and Conference Center) as a camper and then as a counselor where she met her husband.

She was an active member of Hebron Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and as an Elder. She graduated from Slippery Rock University and received her masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh with Honors and the special distinction of University Scholar. She worked at Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital, Shadyside Hospital, Presbyterian Senior Care and most recently Health South in Harmarville as a Case Manager.

As a breast cancer survivor she enjoyed paddling dragon boats with Pink Steel. In her spare time she loved reading, going to craft and flea markets, antiquing, auctions and vacationing at Rehoboth Beach with her family. She devoted her life to her family, patients, and church and was loved by them all and will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2 pm in Hebron Presbyterian Church, 10460 Frankstown Rd, Pgh, PA 15235. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to: Hebron Presbyterian Church and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center, 188 Macartney Lane, Ligonier, PA 15658. Arrangements entrusted to the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Oakmont.
