Barbara Vaughn Caviness, age 80 of Snow Camp, NC met her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 17, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. Barbara was born in Durham, NC on August 24, 1938, the daughter of the late Robert Caruso Vaughn and Eula Dixon Vaughn. She graduated from Durham High School in 1957.

She was employed at Western Electric for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Caviness. She is survived by her sons, Michael Caviness and his wife Susan and Robert Wesley Caviness.

As well her four grandchildren, Andrew Caviness, Justin Caviness, Lauren Caviness Hedrick and her husband Alex Craig Hedrick, Kimberly Joan Caviness, and her fiancé, Harley Ray Dalton. Barbara lived her life for the ones that she loved. To those who knew her she had a heart of gold and always has a smile on her face as well as the desire to help her loved ones in any way possible.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
