OBITUARY Barney Joe Silva August 21, 1934 – September 13, 2018 Barney Joe Silva, 84, passed away September 13, 2018. He was born August 21, 1934 in Chicago to parents, Barney and Bertha Silva. He was a proud member of the Potowatami Nation.

B.J. was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, member of Lodge #1356; a founding member of the Range Riders; an active Elk and a trustee of the local 848. B.J. was preceded in death by daughter, Georgia Lee Silva; grandson, Cody Lee Silva; and brother, Victor Silva. He was survived by: wife, Linda Silva; children, Russell Silva, Charles Silva, John Fraley and Deborah Coones; grandsons, Wacey Silva and Kenneth Subin; great granddaughter, Brocklyn Silva; siblings, Ned Silva, Vic Silva, Tom Jacobs and John G. Jacobs; and numerous other relatives and friends.
