Baylis “Buddy” Allen Brown, age 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mr. Brown was born on April 2, 1934 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Illinois.

He then obtained a bachelor degree in business at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Buddy served his country honorably with the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. On November 8, 1969, he married Valerie A. Bokuniewicz in Phoenix, Arizona.

Together he and his wife own and operate Brown Industrial Packaging in Fort Wayne. Buddy was also employed at Signode Corporation for 26 years. Survivors include: Spouse, Valerie A. Brown of Fort Wayne.

Son, Allen Brown of Fort Wayne. Sister, Gloria Hassett of Minnesota. Nephew, Mike Hicks of Minnesota.

Great-nephews, Derek and Tyler Hicks of Minnesota. Brother-in-law, William Bokuniewicz of Arizona. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Ceruti’s Catering, 6601 Innovation Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46818.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00am at Ceruti’s Catering. Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Chris Stephens. Burial with military honors will take place on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be directed to Wounded Warriors. Arrangements entrusted to Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
