A Celebration of Life for Beatrice “Bea” E. Haberman, 95, of Wayland will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Dave Schooley officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Private family burial of her cremains will be at North Hill Cemetery near Wayland.

Memorials may be designated to the Parkview Home in Wayland. Beatrice Elaine (Weaver) Haberman was born February 5, 1923 near Coppock, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Grace (Duttwiler) Weaver. She graduated from Wayland High School.

In 1941 she was united in marrieage to Melvin Haberman in Trenton, Iowa. She was a member of the Washington Country Club and enjoyed golfing, reading, quilting, knitting crocheting and was an excellent seamstress. Bea was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and greatly loved her family.

Survivors include two daughters: Roberta Springborn of Sugar Grove, IL. , Patricia (John) Stoner of Chicago, IL. , four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding Bea in death were her parents, husband Melvin, infant sister Norma and infant twin sons Thomas and Teddy. Bea died Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Parkview Home in Wayland.
