Obituary for Beatrice Billie Williamson Beatrice Billie Williamson, a long-time resident of the Talbott and Jefferson City area, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 81 on Friday, December 7, 2018. She was born on April 4, 1937 in Eccles, West Virginia. Billie was very proud of her West Virginia heritage but found her real home in East Tennessee, where she spent the last 63 years of her life.

Billie retired from Magnavox Company in Jefferson City. Throughout her life, Billie enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, reading, working puzzles, and doing crossword puzzles. She especially loved fishing for trout and rockfish in the mountains and lakes of East Tennessee and North Carolina.

Billie also enjoyed summer camping trips with her family on Cherokee Lake. Billie and her husband, Wayne also cherished summers alone in one of their favorite places, Charleston, South Carolina during Wayne’s annual military reserve active duty services. Later in life Billie most enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, the NFL, and her Stories (Soap Operas).

She spent many hours playing her favorite game, Yahtzee, with her children and grandchildren. On the rare occasions when she would lose, she was fond of saying, “Oh Well”, which meant to those near and dear to her, “I”ll get you next time…” and most often she would, :). She was much like her own mother when it came to candy… always a stash in every room :).

Billie is survived her loving husband of 47 years, Mr. Wayne Williamson; children, Mrs. Cindy Hicks and husband, Harold of Jefferson City, Mrs. Pam Inman and husband, David of Damascus, MD. , Mr. Robert Williamson and wife Kim of Talbott TN and Mr. Scott Williamson and wife, Pam of Mohawk TN; grandchildren, Allen and Chelsea, Wesley and Jesse, Lauren and Haley, and Trista and Tommy; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Maddox, Harper, Wyatt, Scarlett, Jett, Mikey, Konner, Jaice; brother, Mr. Jesse Ellis and wife, Shirley of Sugar Grove, VA. The family will hold a private graveside service on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
