Beatrice E. (Escher) Edwards, age 91, of Elizabeth Twp. , formerly of Butler, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Southwestern Nursing Center. She retired as a secretary for Western PA Coal Operators in Pittsburgh.

Born July 14, 1927 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Fuchs) Escher. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William T. Edwards; daughters, Diane (Doug) Roth of Baldwin and Kathy Edwards of Elizabeth Twp. ; sons, James Edwards of Baldwin and Shawn Edwards of Butler; grandchildren, Brittney Roth, Devon Roth, Miah Zabroski, Drew Zabroski and Zachary Edwards; great-grandchildren, Bella, Jacob and Raina.

A private memorial gathering and blessing took place in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
