Beatrice Joyce Baker, 70, of Appleton, formerly of Superior, died Monday July 9, 2018 at Rennes Health and Rehab. She was born December 6, 1947 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, daughter of the late Raymond and Alverna (Derocher) Launderville.

Joyce enjoyed spending time up north with friends, fishing and was an avid Milwaukee Brewer and Wisconsin Badger fan. Her greatest enjoyment came from attending and supporting her three grandsons at all of their sporting events. Joyce is survived by her three grandsons: Noah, Jacob and Ethan Severin; and her two sisters: Mary Berlinger and Loretta Baka; brother in-law, Norman Heckendorf; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loyal companion Boo.

She was preceded in death by her two sons: Edward Baker and Craig Severin; brother, Jack Launderville; and two sisters: Ruth Pulse and Helen Heckendorf; and three brothers in-law: Ernie Pulse, Emil Baka and Dominic Berlinger. In keeping with her wishes, a private service will be held. Joyce’s family would like to extend a special thank you to her friend Katie Clough, and to the entire staff at Rennes Health and Rehab for all of their care and compassion.
