OBITUARY Ben Anderson May 30, 1951 – December 8, 2018 Ben Anderson, 67, of Port Lavaca passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 8, 2018 after a 16 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born May 30, 1951 in San Antonio to Floyd Marcus Anderson and Ruby Rankin Anglin. Ben was raised in Sabinal, Texas by his mother and stepfather, Milford (Sut) Anglin.

He was married to his high school sweetheart, Dianne Jedlicka Anderson for 45 years. Ben was a plant operator, fishing guide and a boat rigger. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, great dancer, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Anyone who knew Ben knew he lived life to the fullest and always enjoyed a good time. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Jedlicka Anderson; sons, Clint Anderson (fiancé, Cortney), and Brian (Amy) Anderson; daughter, Amanda (Carlos) Guillen; sisters, Ernestine Beachamp and Sylvia Sanderson; grandchildren, Lola Anderson, Jade Davis, Colter Davis, Paige Anderson, Blake Anderson, Cameron Guillen, Alivia Guillen, Avalyn Guillen and Corben Guillen; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and his beloved companion, Mylee Mae. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Six Mile Cemetery.

Pallbearers are John Shaw, Vencil Jedlicka, Nathan Jedlicka, Scott Grantland, Casey Kartchner and Sherman Tapley. Honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons, Blake Anderson and Corben Guillen. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.
