Mt. CARMEL- Benny Morelock, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019. Benny was a Veteran of Desert Storm, serving in the Army, he was a member of Mt.

Mitchell Primitive Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel where he was part of the church quartet, and assisted in cleaning the church. He was an antique collector, loved animals, enjoyed working in his garden and loved his family and friends.

He would give anything he could to help others. He was preceded in death by: Parents- Orville Ray and Mary Alice Morelock, Brothers: Lynn Morelock, Jack Morelock, Don Morelock, Sisters- Hazel Morelock, Ailene Mills, & Lee Wright. Suriviors: Brothers- Jim (Joan) Morelock, Dillard Morelock, Malcolm “Bo” Morelock, Sisters- Ethel Roop, Peggy Duncan & Bobby Crawford, and several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 11-1, funeral service 1PM at Tri-Cities Funeral Home, graveside service to immediately follow in Church Hill Memory Gardens, with Pastor Frank Gilliam officiating.
