Beppy De Haas Robbs, age 82 years 5 months 29 days, passed away February 10, 2019 at her home in Mapleton, Utah. She was born August 13, 1936 in Utrecht, Holland. Beppy came to America in April of 1951 with her parents, Cornelia Standaard De Haas and John Gerhard De Haas, and three brothers, Joe, John and Hans De Haas.

Her sister, Cornelia Nebbeling, stayed in Utrecht, Holland with her husband Jope Nebbeling. Beppy was a mother to all who needed one, and a wonderful example of selfless love. Her favorite thing was to be with her children and grandchildren.

She loved to fly with her son David. She loved dancing down the halls of The Abbington Assisted Living singing songs with her friend Jan. Beppy had a beautiful voice and loved to sing with her sister.

She loved to drive around town on Sundays. Beppy worked hard through the years with her brother John, and later with her son David. Beppy was the best people person.

She was proud of her Dutch heritage and referred to herself as a “stubborn dutchman”. She was the kindest person on the face of this earth. Beppy married Kay Adams in 1953, after meeting Kay through her best friend Geniel Adams Pino.

To this union three sons were born: Baby Kay, Joseph Lee and David Franklin. She married Boyd Wheelwright in 1960. To this marriage a son, Boyd Bernard Wheelwright was born.

She married Carl Robbs in 1976. From this union she gained two daughters, Diann (Robbs) Ridgway and Sheila (Robbs) Rodkey. Beppy is survived by: two brothers and their wives, John and Sandra De Haas of Mapleton, Utah, and Joe and Joyce De Haas of Texas; four sons: Joseph (Lori) Adams of Eagle Mountain, Utah, David (Shelly) Adams of Springville, Utah, Boyd (Hollie) Wheelwright of Del Norte, Colorado, and Chad (Tessa) Wheelwright of Los Angeles, California; two step-daughters, Diann (Merle) Ridgway and Sheila (Michael) Rodkey, both of Alva, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Beppy was preceded in death by her parents, Corry and John De Haas, her stepfather Herman Sutter, a son Baby Kay Adams, a grandson Mitch Ridgway, and a granddaughter Jessica Adams and her sister Corry Nebbeling. Beppy will be laid to rest in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Following the service there will be a luncheon for family and friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2379 River Bottom Road, Springville, Utah.
