Berardino “Ben” Trilli Age 91, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2019. He was born Sept.

10, 1927 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Luigi and Gelsomina (Battista) Trilli, and was a life resident. Ben was a 1946 graduate of Waynesburg High School, where he played on the 1946 Mohawk basketball team that was defeated in the State Semi-Finals 24-23 by Worthington High School. He was retired from Whitacre-Greer Fireproofing Co. where he worked in the sample room.

Ben served in the U. S. Army from 1951-52 during the Korean Conflict, and was an over 62 year member of Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432. He is survived by his brother, Louis Trilli, Sr., and nieces and nephews, Rae Ann Swinehart, Randy (Robin) Swinehart, Lisa (Joe) Tramontana, Michelle (Dan) Neisel, and Louis (Tricia) Trilli, Jr.; also numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. According to Ben’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services.

He will be interred in Sandy Valley Cemetery at a later date with Military Honors. Condolences may be sent to: www. gordonfuneralhomes.
