OBITUARY Bernadette “Bernie” Farquhar August 16, 1921 – July 15, 2018 Bernadette “Bernie” Farquhar, age 96, of Sarasota, FL passed away on Sunday July 15, 2018. Bernadette was born August 16, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Louis and Cecelia (Celmer) Wilson. She is survived by her loving son, Rodger Farquhar (Stacey Grad) of Sarasota, FL and cherished granddaughters, Christie Farquhar of Wilmington, DE and Stephanie Farquhar of Lincoln, NE.

Bernie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, William W. Farquhar. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 200 N. Orange Ave. , Sarasota, FL 34236.

Interment will take place on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10 AM in Jersey City, NJ at Holy Name Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Martha Catholic Church. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
