Bernadette C. Keener, 85, of Butler died Friday afternoon at the Saxony Health Center. Born July 1, 1933 in Butler, she was the daughter of Eugene and Bernadette (Turner) Schaffner. Bernadette was a graduate of Duquesne University and attended the Sherwood Music School in Chicago.

She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ. She was married to John J. Keener, he preceded her in death on October 3rd of this year. Bernadette is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Graveside services for Bernadette C. Keener will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 22, 2018 in St. Eusebius Cemetery with Rev. William Kuba officiating.
