Obituary of Bernadette Zwaan Bernadette R. “Bernie” (Gallagher) Zwaan, age 72, of Clifton Heights, PA, died suddenly on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Naamans Creek Country Manor of Garnet Valley, PA. Bernadette was born November 7, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School.

Bernie enjoyed having company over and talking on the phone. Bernie was devoted to her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Eugene’s Catholic Church.

Daughter of the late John and Mary (McLaughlin) Gallagher; sister of the late Thomas and John Gallagher and Eleanor Bellinger; mother of the late babies Bernadette and Patricia Zwaan. Survivors: Sons: Chuck (Christine) Zwaan of Cape Coral, Florida, and Mike (Jennifer) Zwaan of Spring Hill, Florida Daughters: Kim Zwaan of Clifton Heights, PA and Mary (Mike) Zebley of Aston, PA Grandchildren: Jacqueline, Danielle, Lexi, Mikey And Andrew, Tyler, Trevor, Tommy, Mike, Joey, Nicky, Savannah, Kolby and Zac Great-Grandchildren: Vinny, J.J., Jackson and Kinsley Sisters: Margaret and Maryanne Brothers: Bill, Pat, Danny and Joe Gallagher Funeral Service: Friday, October 19th at 11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds.
