Bernadine’s Obituary Bernadine S. Kopko, age 91 of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Church of God Home. Born December 14, 1927 in Nanticoke, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Klamar) Michalek. Bernadine worked as a clerk for the PA Dept.

of Labor and Industry for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg. Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Casimir J. Kopko and sister, Alberta Matthews.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert P. Kopko and wife Joyce of Hummelstown, Richard J. Kopko and wife Debra of Mechanicsburg and Ronald Kopko of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Kristen Kopko, Kyle Kopko and Mark Kopko and three great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Clara Grace and Cole Elliott Kopko. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg. Viewing will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of mass.

Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of God Home, 801 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
