Obituary for Bernice L. Fisk Bernice Fisk 1917 – 2018 Bernice Lorine Fisk, 101 passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy W. Lofquist and Flora Wustrow Lofquist , sister Margaret Louise Carre’ (Robert) , and husband of 73 years, Hiram Thomas Fisk. She is survived by her sister-in-law Marion Henderickson, nephews, John E Hendrickson Jr. of El Paso, Bradley E Fisk Jr. (Jennifer) of Lubbock, TX; nieces Carolyn Overley (Richard), El Paso, TX, Fay Ellen Fisk, Flagstaff, AZ, Sally Newton, (Mark) of Allen, TX, Patricia Louise Carre’ Morgan, Dallas GA; 3 great nephews; 2 great nieces, 2 great great nephews.

Marrying Tom in Asbury Methodist Church (Faith United) in 1941, both she and Tom continued their service until passing. For over 77 years Bernice served as organist ( for over 50 years), Church secretary, visitation, “jack of all trades and many other roles. Strong of mind, but sweet of temperament, she was loved by many.

She also was an excellent seamstress, outstanding knitter, could organize anything, early gardener, etc. We will miss her so much for being our “Aunt Bonnie”. Visitation will begin at 9:00am with a Funeral Services at 10:00am at Faith United Methodist Church, 3500 Pershing on Tuesday, January 12, 2018.

Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or a favorite charity. Please visit our online register book at www. sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
