BERTHA ELIZABETH KIRK, 72, of Huntington, W.Va. , formerly of East Lynn, W.Va. , went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018.

She was born on October 10, 1946 in Springfield, W.Va. , a daughter of the late Henry and Shirley Cooley. Her husband, Aubrey Kirk, also preceded her in death, along with one son Rodger Miller; two brothers, Larry Cooley and Bobby Cooley; and two sisters Brenda Cooley and Shirley Cooley.

Survivors include one son Carl Cooley of Huntington, W.Va. ; one daughter Shirley Tanner of Huntington, W.Va. ; two brothers Tommy (Pat) Cooley of Pennsylvania, and Andy Cooley of Welch, W.Va.

; one nephew Ray Cooley of East Lynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family, and neighbors too numerous to mention. Private services will be held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
