Obituary for Bertha Mae Spires Bertha M. Spires, age 80 passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Bertha was born on January 30, 1938 to Richard J. and Betty (Mansburger) Kintz Jr. Betty work for many years in food service with Sbarros and Affairs by Beth. She was a member of the Naus Club of Columbus and VFW Post #4931 Ladies Auxiliary.

Preceded in death by her husband, James M. Spires and brother, Timothy Lee Kintz. Survived by sons, Roger (Stephanie) Spires and Jim (Delina) Spires; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Kintz, Thomas Kintz; sisters, Cathy Thomas and Linda Thompson; nieces, nephews; caretaker and best friend, Shirley Partlow; a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm with funeral service to follow at 6:30 pm at HEART and HOPE Funeral Home by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
