SOLTYS, Berthe J. (Thibeault), 96, formerly of Coventry, passed away on Monday, December 3, 3018 at Elderwood of Scallop Shell in Wakefield. She was the beloved husband of the late Francis J. Soltys. Born in West Warwick, and a resident of the Pawtuxet Valley all her life, she was a daughter of the late Theophile and Rosilda (Champagne) Thibeault.

Berthe worked as a cashier at the Navy Exchange in Quonset Point for over 10 years before retiring in 1967 and was a former member of the Natick Senior Citizens UTC. She enjoyed many years of traveling and dining out with the love of her life, her husband, Frank. Berthe spent the last 12 years of her life living at Greenwich Farms in Warwick.

She was fond of Wii bowling, ceramic painting and flower arranging. Berthe took pleasure in being with her friends and having adventures with her niece. She is survived by her nephew, Robert Thibeault and his wife Irene of Carolina and a great-nephew BrianThibeault and his wife Kelly of South Kingstown.

She was a sister of the late Robert Thibeault, Lucille DuFault and Theresa Levesque. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.

Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted. Memorial contributions to Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church would be appreciated.
