Beth E. Holmquist, 88, died Oct. 30, 2018, in Enumclaw. She was born Feb.

5, 1930, in Spokane, WA, to Jasper and Bertha Peer. Beth worked in hospital housekeeping and enjoyed gardening, taking photos, travelling and sipping soy mochas from Crossley’s. She was involved with the VFW Auxiliary and the USO.

Beth loved her children and grandchildren. She also had a fondness for stray cats. She is survived by daughters Dianna Coutts (Theodore) of Enumclaw, Rebecca Hudson (Paul) of Silverdale, WA, Renee Andrews of Spokane, and Rachel Flick of Stevenson, WA; sons Ron Holmquist (Julie) of Arlington, WA, and Mike Holmquist (Tracy) of Auburn, WA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Andrews, and a granddaughter. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Elmer. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec.
