Obituary for Bettie McCain Bettie McCain, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was born January 1, 1956 in Corsicana to A.J. and Alma Miles York. Bettie was a very unique person.
She was very handy and could do anything. She loved to fish and over the years she was a member of TABC, Bass Club, Media Bass, Bass Champs and Angler Choice. She could out fish any man.
She loved being outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting but her passion was fishing. She was in a fishing book and a fishing show at one time. She also loved horses and use to barrel race.
She enjoyed crafts and could patch holes and sew up anything needed. Her most passionate love was for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, AJ and Alma York; late husband Allen Ray Fleenor, sister and brother in law, Shirley Ann Franks and Clyde Franks, great grandchild, Cutter Lane, great grandparents, George L. and Gwendolyn York.
She is survived by her husband, Randy McCain; Son, Shane Dickerson and wife Jodi; daughter, Crystal Underwood and husband Justin; step daughter Kasi Stagman and husband Adam; step son Roy Lee McCain and step son Clayton Fleenor and wife Liz. Grandchildren, Sammantha and Jacob Davis, Megan and Preston Davis, Dalton Dickerson, Dusty Price, Payton Dickerson, Dakota and Cody Lamb, Colton and Tristan Fleenor, Trent and Taylor Underwood. Great grandchildren, Aubree Kay, Mattilyn Kate, Lane and Easton, Kaitlyn Lamb.
Sisters, Sandra and husband Robert Smith, Sue and Robert Wiggins, Frances and David Eastman. Brothers, Alvin and wife Kathy York, Charlie and wife Charlcy York. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Precious, Patches and Charlie.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, December 28, 2018 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randall Evett officiating.
Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her children, Shane Dickerson, Jodi Dickerson, Crystal Underwood, Justin Underwood, Dalton Dickerson and Dusty Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie York Jr., Sean Bynum, Preston Davis, Jacob Davis, John Guerra, Wesley Eastman.
