Obituary for Betty C. Shannon Betty C. Shannon, 79 of Searcy, passed away May 22, 2018. She was born on June 23, 1938 to the late William Franklin Nash and Leona Ellen Webb Nash in Desha, Arkansas. Betty was retired from Southwestern Bell and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Renee Hoffmann and husband, Barry of Searcy; brother, M.D. Nash of Cabot; grandson, Clayton Wade Hoffmann and wife, Maddy of Maumelle; granddaughter, Karli Renee Jones and husband, Kyle of Fayetteville. Visitation will be Friday, May 25 from 1-2pm with a Life Celebration following at 2:00pm, both at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
