Betty’s Obituary Services for Betty Davis, 76, of Sasakwa will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church, Rev. Jimpsey Harjo will officiate. Burial will follow at the Rock Springs Cemetery.

Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church. Betty Davis was taken by the hand and led to the arms of our Lord on Friday, May 3, 2019 in her Sasakwa home. She was born July 1, 1942 in Sasakwa to Wesley and Joanna Davis.

Betty grew up in Oklahoma City. She became a care giver for forty plus years. She loved to visit family, have some laughs, tell some tales, visits to the casino, and was very active in church.

She loved life to the fullest and enjoyed going to indian dances to see the people in traditional dress, beadwork, food and music. Survivors include her children, Phillip Watan, Mitch Watan and Rachel Watan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Davis and Sammy Davis; sisters, Lana Davis, Sharon Davis-Roberts and Anna Mae Morton. She was preceded in death by her sons, Theodore Watan (baby Teddy), Sterling Watan, Jr. (Porkey); George Davis, Katie Martinez, John Davis, Reta Mae Violette and Pauline Gore.

Bearers will be Chubba Davis, Jimmy Davis, Eli Watan, Mitchel Watan, B. J. Jones and William Little Calf.
