Betty Ellen Everhart, age of 74, of New Market, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Roy Scalf; brothers, Ray and Roy Scalf Jr., sister, Evelyn Scalf. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Reed, Amanda (Tim) Roberts, Sirena (Nick) Williams, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Scalf; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Market Fire Department, 934 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy, New Market, TN 37820 and/or the Gideons International, P.O. Box 97251 Washington, DC 20090-7251 The family will hold a celebration gathering on Sunday, May 19 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at 1142 Baker Road, New Market, TN 37820.
