Betty Frances Parker May 05, 1935 – March 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Betty Frances Parker, 83, of Gastonia, passed away March 8, 2019 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. She was born May 5, 1935 in Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Frank Williams and Helen Brown Williams. Betty was a life-time member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Parker and wife Sally, and Gordon Parker; daughter, Sherry Gibson and husband H.L.; sister, Jeanette “Tab” Hawn; grandchildren, Ricky Parker, Misty Hinson and husband Steven, Scott Parker, Sarah Parker, and Robert Parker II and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Aurora Scott, Zane Parker, Robert Parker III and Cheyanne Hinson. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Parker; brother, Frank Williams, Jr.; sisters, Marie Lynch and Geneva Stroupe; son, Gregory Parker and granddaughter, Kimberly Gibson. A funeral service will be held 3 pm on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Davis Park Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Southside Baptist Church cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
