Betty H. Schwinghamer, age 91, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:52 a.m., on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. She was born March 31, 1927, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Valentine and Mildred (Astrike) Haas. Betty was formerly employed as a clerk in the medical office of Dr. Bretz; and was active in the Council of Catholic Women while residing in Florida.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Becky Menke) Schwinghamer of Huntingburg, Indiana. Funeral services for Betty Schwinghamer will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.
