Betty J. Boelter, age 57, of Waupaca, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, with family at her side. She was born in Waupaca on March 7, 1961 to Clifford and Arline (Schroeder) Boelter. She worked for 20 years as a CNA, primarily in a CBRF setting.

Betty was a country girl at heart and grew up on a farm. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping and fishing, and loved listening to Elvis. Betty was a devoted mother to her four children: Jeaney (Hope) Boelter, Edward Boelter, and Elizabeth Boelter, all of Waupaca, and Landon (Paul) Boelter of Oshkosh.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Haley and Austin Boelter; siblings: Bob (Judy) Boelter, Bill (Mary) Boelter, and Norman Boelter, all of Waupaca, and Alvin Boelter of Waunakee; special friends: Donald Blink, Harriet Lick, Rick and Dawn Nelson, Sandy Cunningham, Brian Wilson,the Lindenmeyer Family and Henry Blank. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, LaVerne; uncle, Alvin Schroeder; and nephew, Kenny Boelter. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home, with Pastor Eric Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Lind Center Cemetery.
