Betty J. Hogan (nee Robinson), 95, of Elyria, passed away at her residence on October 18, 2018. Betty was born on March 16, 2018 in Cleveland Ohio. She was a long time resident of Elyria, where she ran her own floral company, Flowers by Betty.

She graduated from Etna High School in Etna, PA in 1941 and attended a floral design school afterwards. Betty enjoyed crafts, and music. She sang in the choir at First Congressional UCC in North Ridgeville, and was also part of the Woman’s Senior Fellowship of Elyria.

She is survived by her children; Beth Ann Hogan, and Thomas Allen Hogan; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Dale Rutherford Hogan; her brother, Bill Robinson; and by her parents, Mike and Gertrude (nee Steinmetz) Robinson. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 10pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 12pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd.

Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
