Kohout, of Wilber, formerly of Friend, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the Wilber Care Center in Wilber at the age 92. She was born on a farm west of Wilber. Betty was a member of the Friend United Methodist Church and the Friend Country Club.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Virginia Sasek, a sister, Rose Zoubek, all of Wilber, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert in 2010, and a brother, Robert Sasek. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Friend United Methodist Church.

Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment is in Andrew Cemetery, Friend. Memorials have been established and may be directed in care of the family.

Lauber Funeral and Cremation Services, Friend, is entrusted with the care and arrangements.
