OBITUARY Betty J. Smith August 29, 1935 – January 7, 2019 Betty J. Smith, 83 of Wawarsing, NY went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2019 in Orlando, FL. She was born in Geronimo, Oklahoma on August 29, 1935. Betty, along with her husband, owned Bernie’s Auto Sales for many years.

She was a member of the Ellenville United Methodist Church. Betty loved to garden and grew the prettiest flowers. She also enjoyed music, bowling in her younger years and her family was the joy of her life.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bernie Smith: her daughters: Debra Thompson and husband John; Denise Kemp and husband Cory; her grandchildren: Brian Ricotta, Kimberly Ricotta, Zachary Kemp and wife Kendal; her sister, Juanita Kutzer and by several nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Services will be held on Friday, January 11 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden, FL. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
