Betty Jane (Alward) Bock, age 97 of Batavia, Illinois went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2018 after a brief illness. Betty resided in Michigan, retiring at age 76 from a family business then moving to Batavia. Betty is survived by her daughter Pamela (Bill) Schutt; grandsons Richard (Lori and Michael (Susan); great grandsons Adam, Eric, Kyle, and Justin; brother Gerald Alward; and her sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Bock Jr., two brothers, and five sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty’s name may be made to Home Health and Hospice, 690 E. North Avenue, Suite 100, Carol Stream, Illinois 60118 or Washington Township Fire Department, 11300 27 Mile Road, Washington, MI 48094 or Royal Family Kids Camp, c/o Chaplestreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134. A memorial will take place with family and friends in Michigan.
