Betty Jane Castillo , April 12, 1968 — November 24, 2018

Betty Jane Castillo, 50, died on November 22, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas. A celebration of life will be held at the Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625, West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. Homer Builtron officiating. Betty was born April 12, 1968 in Lubbock, Texas.

Betty’s life-long passion was cosmetology, fashion, and beauty. She was a customer service manager at Walmart and worked in the cosmetics department. She attended Estacado High School in Lubbock and was a graduate of Vogue Beauty Academy.

She was a member of New Hope Church. Betty is survived by her parents, Venancio and Christina Rodriquez of Lubbock; her husband, Tyrone Traylor of Lubbock; one son, Michael Castillo and his wife Devyn of Salem, Oregon; one daughter, Bridgette Castillo of Lubbock; four sisters, Rosalinda Cardona of Florida, Rebecca Castillo of Lubbock, Julie Bryand of Lubbock, and Marie Mendosa of Tennessee; three brothers, Steve Castillo of Florida, Joe Castillo of Florida, and Jimmy Castillo of Lubbock. She is also survived by the stars in her universe, three grandchildren, Jaidon Castillo, Lily Castillo, and Avril Castillo, all of Salem, Oregon.
