Betty Jean Lynam, 94, daughter of Roy & Blanche Pittman, was born March 24, 1924 in Cooper, Iowa. She passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at the New Homestead in Guthrie Center, Iowa. Betty grew up and was raised in the Jamaica area, graduating from Jamaica High School in 1942.

She met and married Dale Lynam on November 4, 1942 in Jefferson, Iowa. To this union four children were born, Donna (died in infancy), Linda, Larry, and Jean.
