OBITUARY Betty Joyce Arnold September 19, 1931 – October 2, 2018 Mrs. Betty Joyce Hart Arnold, age 87, formerly of Fieldale, Va. , went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Mrs. Arnold was born on September 19, 1931 in Raleigh, N.C., a daughter to the late Henry Jarvis Stephenson and the late Margaret Hester Stephenson.

She was married to Benneth Leroy Arnold for over fifty years, who predeceased her. She was a member of Fieldale Baptist Church for nearly seventy years, where she taught Sunday School for over fifty years. She was a devoted volunteer at the Grace Network.

She was employed by SunTrust Bank for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Arnold is survived by a daughter, Annette A. Willis and husband, James of Roanoke, Va. , a son, Bret Arnold and wife, Mandy of Stokesdale, N.C.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Beth Arnold. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Harleigh Arnold, step-grandchildren, Austin Barnes, Kaytlin Raines and family, and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2018 at Fieldale Baptist Church, with the Reverend Allen Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fieldale Baptist Church, P. O. Box 98, Fieldale, VA 24089.
