OBITUARY Betty June Hoolahan Gaeta June 5, 1930 – December 9, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Betty June Hoolahan Gaeta passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Sam D. Gaeta Sr. Loving mother of Sharon Gaeta Graham (Willie), Karen Gaeta Gaudet (the late Bruce), Danny J. Gaeta Sr., Sam D. Gaeta Jr. (Pam) Daughter of the late Cornelius Hoolahan and Josephine Fairchild Hoolahan. Sister of Madeline H. Roy (Todd), Barbara Kliebert (Ronnie) and the late Pat Lahmann (the late Ronnie), Margaret Ruff (Rudy) and Gayle Henney.

Proud grandmother of Bruce Gaudet Jr., Danny Gaeta Jr. (Heather), Melissa Gaudet, Derek Johnson, Brian Johnson (Kim), Amanda Johnson (Brandon) and Shane Gaeta (Lauren). Great grandmother of Brandon Gaudet (Kristian), Devyn Gaudet (Chaz), Destiny Gaudet, Mikaela Gaeta, Miley Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Logan Anderson, Layden Anderson and Liam Anderson. Also survived by her granddaughter in law Wendy Gaudet and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Betty was born on June 5, 1930 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She loved art, reading and gambling at casinos. She was an avid seamstress back in the day and enjoyed thrift shopping at Goodwill.

She will be forever remembered as a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST.

BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
