OBITUARY Louana “Bitsy” Buzbee October 12, 1937 – December 6, 2018 Louana “Bitsy” Buzbee passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Robert Benjamin Thrash and Arah Gertrude Thrash, and by her husband, Glenn F. Buzbee, Sr. Bitsy was the loving mother of David (Sharon), Dennis (Deborah) and Darren (Christie). Grandmother of Erin Buzbee Stevens (Aron), Alison Buzbee, Ian Buzbee and Landon Buzbee.

Great-grandmother of Trent Nastasi. She was the stepmother of Glenn F. Buzbee, Jr. (Chris). Step-grandmother of Laurie Buzbee Borett (Stephen), Miles C. Buzbee (Jennifer) and Sarah Buzbee Berry.

She was the step-great-grandmother of Olive Borrett, Wade and Banks Buzbee, and Atticus and Ansel Berry. She was the sister of Annette Bolton. Bitsy is also survived by an aunt, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
