Obituary for Betty L. Prager Bias Betty L. Prager Bias, 75, of Madison, WV, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 after a long illness. She was born on January 1, 1943 in Natrona Heights, PA, to John and Ella Ruth Prager. She was a 1960 graduate of Freeport High School, Freeport, PA.

She spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, babysitter and professional seamstress at Betty’s Sewing Basket and Logan Manufacturing. She is survived by sons, Jeff (Kim) Bias of Poca, WV, John (Kim) Bias of Rock Creek, WV; daughters, Lisa Britton (Gene Ulbrich) of Madison, WV and Terri (Chris) Tudor of Madison, WV; the father of her children, Roger Bias of Big Ugly, WV; grandchildren, Chris, Blake (Kayla), Justin, Preston and Nathan Bias, Matthew and Andrew Britton and Hayley Tudor, step-grandchildren, Noah and Zoie Jarrell and Nevaeh Grodek, and one great grandchild, Mason Bias. She was also survived by a special niece, Crystal Prager Adams of Louisville, KY; sister, Janice Schuller of Sarver, PA, brother, Don Prager of Berea, OH, and a special friend/sister, Jody Boggess, as well as a host of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Berry and brother, John “Jack” Prager Jr She was a member of and faithful teacher in the children’s church at Fountain of Life Worship Center, Rock Creek, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, attending church, sewing, crocheting, playing bingo and watching her beloved Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fountain of Life Worship Center at Rock Creek, WV, with Pastor Ronnie Luke officiating. Friends may call the church beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2. Burial will be in Family Memorial Gardens, Madison, WV.

Handley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you become an organ donor and give the gift of life as Betty would have celebrated her ten-year anniversary of a double lung transplant on October 7, 2018.
