Obituary for Mrs. Betty Lockhart Mrs. Betty Lockhart, 85, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her residence. Betty was born on November 7, 1932 in Murray to the late Ernest Wade Underwood and Eupha Johnson Underwood. She was a lifelong member of Sinking Spring Baptist Church in Murray.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Lockhart to whom she was married for 59 years; a grandson, Derik Manis; a son in law, Greg Rhodes and a brother in law, Bill Collins. Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Gene Dale Lockhart (Leslie) of Lynn Grove; three daughters, Lita Rhodes of Hazel, Regina Manis (Tommy) of Murray; LeAnn Robertson of Murray; a brother, Wade Underwood of Murray; a sister, Juanita Collins of Murray; ten grandchildren, Landon Lockhart, Lakyn Harned, Conner Lockhart, Cole Lockhart, Cary Bogard, Terry Bogard, Melissa Bogard, Jason Greer, Kaci Blackford, Jay Robertson and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Lockhart is set for 1 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Sinking Spring Baptist Church, 4185 Wiswell Rd.

W., Murray. Wade Underwood will officiate and burial will follow in the Sinking Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Billy Collins, Terry Bogard, Barry Murdock, Seth French, Landon Lockhart and Trent Ballard.

The family will receive visitors from 11 AM – 1 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are being handled by Imes Funeral Home & Crematory.
