Obituary for Betty Lou Springer Betty Lou Springer, 85 years old of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. She was born October 20, 1932 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (nèe Pelkey) Loucks. On December 9, 1953, Betty married James Stanley Springer in Lockport, IL and they resided in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Florida.

Betty served her country proudly in the United States Air Force. She enjoyed reading, gardening and puzzles. Betty is survived by her children, LuAnn (Eddie) Jones, John (Deirdre) Springer, Linda Rinck, Sherry Murray, James (Kelly) Springer; her grandchildren, Michelle (Daniel) Santana, Claudia Jones, Caleb Jones, Merai Springer, Zachary Springer, Nicole (Jack) Butcher, Accalia Murray, and James, Emily and Matthew Springer; her great-grandchildren, Valentino Santana, Sarai Jones, Alijah and Madalyne Serros, Noah, Chloe, and Kylie Butcher, Joey and Kayle Murray; her siblings, Norma (Cliff) Gaines and John (Beverly) Loucks; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Murray. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Betty’s memory to the Arbor Day Foundation (www. arborday.org.
